Researchers from the Australian Centre for Robotic Vision are calling for large-scale, major trials of social robots in health and wellbeing settings, after an analysis of current experiments found them to be limited and few in number.
CSIRO’s Data61 has appointed Dr Sue Keay to lead its Cyber Physical Systems program, which is focused on the “connection of digital devices to the physical environment”.

Led by the Australian Centre for Robotic Vision – with additional backing from Queensland University of Technology and Advance Queensland – the roadmap’s organisers aim to emulate the success as similar initiatives in the US and Europe.
