PayPal Australia offers P2P payments service

Consumers can collect money by sharing their link in an email, chat or post

PayPal has launched its peer to peer payments (P2P) service PayPal.Me in Australia.

After creating a PayPal.Me/ URL, consumers can collect money from anyone by sharing their link in an email, chat, or post.

Senders click on the link on any device, enter the payment amount, sign into PayPal, and the money is in the requestor’s account.

However, people who don’t have the PayPal.Me URL can still send money to any email address they have for the recipient.

To accept the funds, the recipient can either sign up for a PayPal account or add the email address to their existing PayPal account.

If the user doesn’t have their PayPal.Me URL, they can still send money to any email address they have for the recipient.
