In brief: Yuile takes CEO role at Nextgen Group

Former AAPT CEO takes charge at Nextgen Group

Nextgen Networks managing director David Yuile has been appointed CEO of Nextgen Group, the company announced this morning.

Yuile joined Nextgen Networks in November last year, after leaving AAPT in February.

As CEO of AAPT, Yuile oversaw the company's acquisition by TPG.

“Our growth strategy is to maximise both our businesses, expand into new markets and increase our customer base to become the carrier, business and Government telecommunications provider of choice,” Yuile said in a statement issued today.

Yuile replaces Peter McGrath in the CEO role. McGrath departed the group in December. Group chairman, Graeme Barclay, has since been acting as CEO.
