Security vendor Webroot has appointed Robbie Upcroft as its Asia Pacific managing director. He replaced Crispin Kerr who has left the company.

Kerr had been in the managing director role for over four years.

Based in Sydney, Upcroft will be responsible for driving revenue growth and business strategy for the company in the APAC market.

“With the company’s momentum and platform offering, there is tremendous potential to continue increasing our security market share worldwide—especially in the APAC region,” he said in a statement.

Prior to joining the vendor, Upcroft was Arrow ECS Australia's general manager for one year.
