CSC sells health products business

CSC this week announced it is hiving off its Australian health products business.

CSC's health business, which comprises patient management products and associated contracts, has been sold to iSOFT - a 50/50 joint venture between a group of CSC employees and UK-based health software specialist iSOFT.

The sale will take effect from October 1 1999.

Former CSC employee Graeme Wilson will become iSOFT's managing director, and 80 CSC staff will transfer to the new business.
