LONDON (04/17/2000) - German system software vendor, Software AG, has opened a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary, Software AG Inc., the company announced today.
The Walnut Creek, California-based company will focus on marketing its XML (Extensible Markup Language) technology products -- including its XML information server, Tamino -- to other U.S. companies, Software AG said in a statement.
Dr. Helmut Wilke, will serve as Software AG Inc.'s president and chief executive officer, the company said.
