BeSecure, a boutique ISP specialising in VPN and secure Internet connections has been awarded the highly sought after Cisco Enabled ISP accreditation.
In order to become accredited, ISPs must demonstrate a robust infrastructure engineered to accept industry standards, comprised of at least 70 per cent Cisco equipment. The accreditation enables BeSecure to display the Cisco Enabled logo to promote its services.
Less than 4 per cent of Australian ISPs are authorised Cisco Enabled ISPs and Kurt Hansen, general manager Telecommunications/Service Provider Line of Business for Cisco Systems Australia, claims "the Cisco Enabled logo is the Internet industry's equivalent to the National Heart Foundation's Tick of Approval'."
BeSecure was formed last year by Brennan IT Group co-founders David Stevens and Steve Hawkins, in conjunction with Kevin Sheenan. The company offers high encryption secured Internet services to businesses in the Sydney region.
