GraysOnline acquires DMS Davlan for undisclosed sum

25 employees will join ecommerce firm

Grays eCommerce Group will acquire auctioneering firm DMS Davlan for an undisclosed sum this month.

The firm has a national network of 15 branches, seven of which are based in regional areas. DMS Davlan offers a range of services including auctioneering, property and business sales.

“In concluding this acquisition, we will see some 25 DMS Davlan employees come across to GraysOnline,” said a spokesperson.

The staff are based in Wagga Wagga, Brisbane, Sydney, Cairns, Townsville, Moree, Adelaide, Mildura, Shepparton and Northam.

Leading the staff will be DMS Davlan director Richard Skellern who is based in Wagga Wagga and owner Lance Smith who is located in Brisbane. Both men will report to GraysOnline B2B executive general manager Adam Scharer.

The ecommerce firm has been on the acquisition path and in February 2015 acquired Bryan Andrews Auctioneers in Christchurch, New Zealand for an undisclosed sum.
