First NT fixed wireless customer connected to NBN

iPirmus has connected the customer in Lambells Lagoon

The first fixed wireless customer in the Northern Territory has been connected to the National Broadband Network (NBN).

iPrimus connected the customer in Lambells Lagoon following the launch of the ISP’s fixed wireless plans in December last year.

Customers on the NBN’s fixed wireless network can sign up for 12/1Mbps.

Customers will also be able to sign up for 25/5Mbps fixed wireless plans from June this year following the announcement by Communications Minister Stephen Conroy in February that the faster speed would also be on offer.
