A wrap of the local industry's executive appointments

HP

Software giant HP has appointed David Caspari as its senior vice-president, enterprise services for the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region, effective immediately.

In the new role Caspari will report to senior vice-president and general manager, HP Enterprise Services, Tom Iannotti. He will be responsible for business growth in the company’s services portfolio across APJ including applications, business processing and outsourcing services.

Prior to the appointment Caspari was vice-president for HP Enterprise Services, South Pacific, and has held several senior positions at Cisco Systems, Nortel, Bay Networks and Alcatel.

The company also appointed Alan Bennett as vice-president, enterprise services, HP South Pacific under which he will report directly to Caspari.

Bennett will be responsible for business growth in the areas of infrastructure services, business process outsourcing and application solutions across the South Pacific region, including Australia and New Zealand.

Bennett was previously the industry leader Government and Defence for Enterprise Services, HP South Pacific where he was responsible for leading growth and developing strategies to for opportunities within the government and defence sectors.

Archie Reed has also been appointed to the newly created role of chief technology officer, Enterprise Services, HP South Pacific.

Based in Sydney, Reed will oversee HP's Cloud computing strategy in the South Pacific region where he will consult with clients across a range of areas including architecture, products, research and development, as well as cloud implementation in high-profile environments. Additionally, he will also continue to serve as global chief technologist — cloud security for HP Enterprise Business.

Fuji Xerox

Fuji Xerox Printers has appointed Stephen Worgan as the Office Automation Channel Development Manager for Australia and New Zealand.

In the position, Worgan will report to channel sales manager, Greg Vlahos, and be responsible for strengthening the company’s channel sales and leading new business development focusing specifically on the business to business market.

Worgan will work alongside Fuji Xerox’s state and business development managers from Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, assisting with overall business and channel development.

Worgan was previously a regional channel manager at Samsung Australia where he was responsible for developing new business opportunities, and was also involved in the training and development of reseller and distribution sales teams.
