Motopia appoints interim CEO
Mobile marketing and content company, Motopia (ASX:MOT), has named Matthew Gerard as its interim CEO.
Gerard, who joined the company as a non-executive director in November 2010, will take the reigns for at least the next six months.
During that time, Motopia will begin looking both locally and internationally for a permanent CEO. MOT shares stayed unchanged on Tuesday at $0.091.
John Dawkins leaves MGM Wireless board
School SMS services provider, MGM Wireless (ASX:MWR), has announced the resignation of non-executive director, John Dawkins.
Dawkins, who joined the board in September 2007, is leaving the company to pursue other corporate activities.
Hon John Dawkins AO served 11 years in Federal Government, including as Treasurer during the Keating government, and as Minister for Employment, Education and Training from 1987 to 1981.
MWR shares remained flat during Tuesday's trading at $0.007.
Imagine Un names new director
Third-party telecom services distributor, Imagine Un (ASX:IUL), has hired Wong Chin Hong as its newest director.
Hong joined the board to fill the shoes left by the resignation of director Iris Ang on 1 March.
He is also currently a director of medical product R&D company Norwood Abbey (ASX:NAL), and has held management and director positions at Elders Finance Australia, N M Rothschild & Sons and Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Singapore.
IUL shares were trading unchanged at $0.005 as of market close on Tuesday.
