CSG touts new business wins

$22 million in new business in May

ICT services company CSG (ASX: CSV) has announced that it has picked up $22 million in new business in May.

The ASX-listed company said it had closed a significant number of high profile long term customer wins across the public and private sectors, the biggest of which is a seven year deal with the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance.

The contract will see CSG develop and support a 600 user system to manage the State of Victoria’s resources including the formulation of the state budget, reporting against the budget and cash management.

The company also scored a five year contract with AJ Lucas to implement the Oracle eBusiness Suite to support their operations and national expansion.

It has also gained business with the NSW government to deliver the Working with Children Check IT system for the NSW Commission for Children and Young People and a contract with IDP Education to deliver an Oracle based financial system to support their operations in approximately 20 countries.

Canon also signed on with the company in a $31 million deal for the servicing of 10,500 multi-function devices.

In February CSG chief executive officer, Denis McKenzie, said the company was on track to doubling its profit in financial year 2010.
