Pacnet Australia has signed a business agreement with Telstra Wholesale which will see it offer a range of ADSL2+ broadband services on Telstra's network.
The services will utilise Telstra's entire ADSL2+ infrastructure, allowing Pacnet access to over 1,400 DSLAMS Australia-wide.
The plans, which will start at $74.95, are aimed at the business market, although some consumer plans will also be available.
The agreement will also allow Pacnet to offer a suite of telecommunications solutions from Telstra across both voice and data services.
These include PSTN, USDN, ADSL1 and ADSL2+. It also applies to international services such as International Private Lines (IPL) and Internet transit.
The deal is valued at over $35 million per anum.
Pacnet owns and operates EACC2C – a 36,800 km submarine cable to Asia. The cable network has a design capacity of 10.24Tbps.
