Sydney-based Achieva Surveillance has signed distribution deals with IP surveillance vendor, ExacqVision, and intelligent video appliance vendor, ioimage.
"Achieva Surveillance was established 12 months ago to specialise in IP solutions for video surveillance. We have got a good range in that area, but technology is advancing all the time," Achieva business development manager, Robbee Carr, said.
"We think this market in the next five years could be worth $10 million."
ExacqVision's product range includes a hybrid video recorder, which takes analogue or IP video inputs. ioimage sells video encoders offering 25 frames per second per channel.
The ioimage products feature intelligent analytic algorithms and four channels of audio. ioimage also supplies fixed cameras that have on-board video analytics, which let users spot objects of interest in the surrounding area.
Carr said the range would appeal to organisations with large or multiple premises requiring security for a workstation type of operation, such as Federal Government, large industry and the corporate sector.
