Online investment specialist E Trade Australia has launched a new service allowing investors to see the quantities and price points at which buyers and sellers are prepared to trade.
E Trade executives said the service allowed clients to view the list of potential buyers and sellers for the top 10 price levels of Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) listed securities. This would give them, the executives claimed, the opportunity to optimise the price at which they deal.
The Market Depth service augments the existing live pricing service which gives the last traded price for listed securities.
